At the All-Russian contest “Patriot of Russia” for the best mass media coverage of the patriotic education theme, the film “My Dear and Sweet!” of the State TV and Radio Company “Don-TR” (by L.Surkova and L.Rublyovskaya) won the Third Place in the nomination “My Russia”.

A musical collection “The Music of the Quiet Don” dedicated to the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov appeared as a result of folk and ethnographic expeditions about the areas of the Upper Don Rostov Region. The project was realized thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

For centuries letters have been one of the main ways of communication between people. In the XVIII–XIX centuries letters became a part of noble life and culture, an everyday necessity of the Russian society. Literary scholars, critics, scientists communicated with each other through letters. In letters they presented their ideas, wrote about their lives. Many letters have been preserved by now to become original documents of the era.
