On October, 16, an opening ceremony of the exhibition “A.S.Pushkin.The Life and Lyre” took place in Sholokhov-Centre in Rostov-on-Don. This is an inter-museum joint project made up by the State A.S.Pushkin Museum (Moscow), the All-Russian A.S.Pushkin Museum (S.-Petersburg), the State Memorial Historical, Literary and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve of A.S.Pushkin “Mikhailovskoye”, the State Historical and Literary Museum-Reserve of A.S.Pushkin (Zakharovo and Bolshiye Vyazyomy) and the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

The exhibition “A.S.Pushkin. The Life and Lyre” will begin its work on October, 16, in Sholokhov Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov in Rostov-on-Don. This exhibition project is prepared by the State Museum of A.S.Pushkin (Moscow) and the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve with participation of the members of “Pushkin Museums Community”: All-Russian Museum of A.S.Pushkin (S.-Petersburg), the State Historical and Literary Museum-Reserve of A.S.Pushkin (Bolshiye Vyzemy), the State Memorial Historical, Literary and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve “Mikhailovskoye”.

On Sunday of October, 11, 2015, the signs in the streets of Stanitsa Karghinskaya showed the direction for the numerous cars and pedestrians to move to the mill farmstead of T.A.Karghin, where the traditional Karghin Fair was running. This December is the 50th anniversary of awarding M.A.Sholokhov the Nobel Prize in literature. The writer heard about his awarding the Nobel Prize on October, 15, 1965: the telegram found him in Kazakhstan when hunting at the lake of Zhaltyrkul.
