The exhibition “Vasily Shukshin. Pages of His Life” has been running in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya since September, 18. This is a joint project of the two museums – the All-Russian Memorial V.M.Shukshin Museum-Reserve and the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

80 years ago, in September of 1935, on the invitation of M.A.Sholokhov, Vyoshenskaya was visited by Iosie Abe, a harpist and an employee of the Japanese embassy in Moscow. The editor-in-chief of the Tokio journal “Kaidzo”, Mr Yamamoto, asked I.Abe to interview M.A.Sholokhov.

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve for the first time took part in the international tourist exhibition “Leisure-2015”, which took place on September, 15–18, 2015, in the exhibition centre “Crocus Expo” in Moscow. The “Leisure” forum is a traditional meeting place of the tourism professionals and is rightly considered to be the main event of the autumn in the field of tourism of Russia and near foreign countries.
