Exhibition “Glorifier of the Don Steppes” in Taganrog

The exhibition “Glorifier of the Don Steppes” dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the great writer will be presented on November, 2, in Taganrog. It is a joint project of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov and the Taganrog Museum of Art to mark the Year of Literature.
Karghin Fair Waits for Guests!

The preparations for the holiday “Karghin Fair on Pokrov Days”, which is going to be held on October, 11, are coming to completion. The holiday will take place in the farmstead of T.A.Karghin, one of the sites of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov in Stanitsa Karghinskaya the Bokovsky District.

On October, 2, the Final of the regional contest for the National Award in the event tourism “Russian Event Awards” of the Southern, North-Caucasian and Crimean federal regions took place in Rostov-on-Don. 55 projects from 37 localities representing 11 regions of Russia were submitted for the contest. The jury consisting of the event tour industry professionals selected eight best projects for further participation in the All-Russian Final of the National Award.

The Exhibition “Traces of Cossack Old Times…” from the Sate Hermitage collection had a successful run in Sholokhov-Centre of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve in Rostov-on-Don. It was attended by political figures, workers of culture and science, delegations from the enterprises and organizations of Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov Region, schoolchildren, students, veterans, guests of the Don region from different parts of Russia and foreign countries.

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve jointly with the Novocherkassk A.K.Kortunov Engineering and Reclamation Institute of the Don State Agrarian University held a relay quiz “Forest Tier” on October, 2, 2015. It was entered by 10 school teams from the Rostov and Voronezh regions.

A holiday devoted to the beginning of the school year for the children of Stella-Bank workers was held in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov in Rostov-on-Don. Stella-Bank has been organizing this holiday for the children of its employees for 10 years annually.
