The boys and girls from Rostov school 80 are frequenters to “Sholokhov Centre” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. On the New Year eve they took part in the exciting project “Christmas Stories”.
Sholokhov’s “Remington” is Shown at the Exhibition “200 Beats per Minute”

The Museum of Science and Industry, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the State Literary Museum have presented the exhibition “200 Beats per Minute” devoted to the typewriter as the basic technical instrument for creation of the literary text in the XX century. The exhibition project showing the exhibits from more than 20 state and private collections including the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve tells about the development of typewriting in Russia on the background of the artistic and political events of the XX century.
“Christmas Stories” in “Sholokhov-Centre”

“Sholokhov-Centre” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov started the project “Christmas Stories”, which shows the exhibitions “Orenburg Downy Shawl” from the Orenburg Museum of Fine Arts and “Everywhere Ask for…” (History of the Russian State in a Candy Wrapper)” from the Museum of Chocolate and Cocoa History (Moscow).

A Valuable Gift

In the year of the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov, Lidiya Ivanovna Vereshkova, the widow of K.I.Priyma, the prominent Sholokhov scholar, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Member of the USSR Union of Writers, made a free gift of a document collection with authentic autographs of M.A.Sholokhov to the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
