The Class at the Exhibition “Antiquities of Vyoshenskaya Country”
01.10.2015On September, 29, the members of the club “Young Archaeologist”, students of the 4 form of the Vyoshenskaya secondary school, visited the exhibition “Antiquities of Vyoshenskaya Country”.
The children met with the well-known Rostov archaeologist Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kazakova, one of the authors of the exhibition. She made an excursion for the children and answered their questions.
Then, the children in two groups worked with the exhibition guidebook. The club members with great interest solved an archaeological crossword puzzle about the life and occupation of ancient man.
The children were enthusiastic about their work.
Such kind of museum classes helps the students to open the mind and enrich the knowledge about the ancient local history.
