An opening ceremony of the exhibition “I Had the Wit of Living My Life through So Silly” about the life and work of the great Russian actress Faina Ranevskaya took place on February 16, 2018, in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. The exhibition is presented by the Theatre Museum named after A.A.Bakhrushin (Moscow).

Results of the International Contest of Young Ecologists

There are the results of the XI International contest of research works of the children and youth environmental movement “Sholokhov Source” on the topic “Literary Landscapes is the Cultural Heritage of the Nation” organized by the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve jointly with the Nongovernmental Environmental Foundation named after V.I.Vernadsky, the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Sholokhov District Administration.
60 Years Ago Sholokhov Finished His Work over the Manuscript of “Virgin Soil Upturned”

M.A.Sholokhov worked over the second book of “Virgin Soil Upturned” during 1940 and the first half of 1941. However, the Great Patriotic War suspended the work for a long time, and the author finished the novel about collectivization only in February 1958.
