New Exhibition “The Outhouse.Summer Kitchen of the Sholokhovs” is Opened

On November 27, 2018, an opening ceremony of the new permanent memorial exhibition “The Outhouse.Summer Kitchen of the Sholokhovs” took place at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov. That day in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya was marked with the first snow, and it was as snowy as on February 1994, when the memorial house of M.A.Sholokhov was opened for visit.
Museum Classes for Rostov Students

During November 21–23, 2018, lectures, museum classes and workshops were given to the students of schools number 96, number 101, and gymnasium number 118, of Rostov-on-Don. The museum workers prepared an interesting and informative program devoted to the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov and the nature of the Don country.

On December 5, 2018, International Volunteer Day, Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will hold an action “I am a Volunteer”– All-Russian Premier of the Documentary “#Яволонтёр.Истории неравнодушных” (#Iamavolunteer. The Stories of Those not Indifferent”).
“Ecoznaika” Visiting Kindergarten Children

On November 22, 2018, the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov held an interactive class “Wintering of Forest Animals” for the children of kindergarten 2 “Romashka” of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. This meeting was one of the cycle of environmental meetings “Visiting Ecoznaika”.

Action “Museum for All!” in the People’s House

On November 30, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will hold a museum class “A Cossack Hamlet” in the exhibition and excursion centre “People’s House” within the All-Russian inclusive action “Museum for All!” The class will be given for children with disabilities, their families, friends and all others.
