On April 13, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov took part in the traditional spring holiday – Arbor Day – planting seedlings of coniferous and deciduous varieties.

On April 25, 2018, the VI International Children and Youth Research Conference “Sholokhov Geography: from the Source to the Nobel Triumph” will take place in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. The topic of the conference: ”Literary Landscapes are a Cultural Heritage of the Nation”.
“The Forest You will Plant”

On April 25, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will hold a volunteer action “The Forest You will Plant”. The event will take place in the forest park “Pearl of Eurasia”. On its territory there were created original species expositions symbolizing the places where the outstanding writers and poets were born, lived and worked.
The XX “Sholokhov Readings” in the Museum-Reserve

During September 11–13, 2018, the XX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Studies in the Work of M.A.Sholokhov: Problems, Concepts and Approaches” (“Sholokhov Readings”) will take place. It will be held by the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya (arrival day is September 10).
Thirty Springs of the Creative Contest “Our Sholokhov”

On April 10, 2018, the final stage of the annual creative contest “Our Sholokhov” was held in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. For thirty years the contest has been gathering talented schoolchildren on the eve of the great writer’s birthday. This year the contest was attended by over a hundred winners in the district contest stages of the north Rostov Region and the Serafimovich District of the Volgograd Region.

Senior students and young people can take part in the contest “The Beginning of the Writing Career of M.A.Sholokhov (“Tales from the Don”, “The Tulip Steppe”)” dedicated to the 113th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov. The contest regulations and tasks will be posted on the website of the Museum-Reserve on April 20, 2018.
“Brilliant World of Alexander Grin” in the Country of Vyoshenskaya

On April 6, 2018, the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” opened the exhibition “Brilliant World of Alexander Grin” from the collection of the Historical and Cultural Memorial Museum-Reserve “Cimmeria of M.A.Voloshin”.
