“Sholokhov Spring” Welcomes Guests!

During May 25–27, 2018, the hospitable Don country welcomes the all-Russian literary folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring” dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian writer M.A.Sholokhov held under the support of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture.
International Museum Day in Sholokhov Museum

On May 18, International Museum Day, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov holds an Open Day and invites to visit the exhibitions in Vyoshenskaya, Karghinskaya, Kruzhilin Village and in Rostov-on-Don. The entrance to all the Museum facilities is free of charge.
The Museum Joined the Contest “Topical Classics: from Pushkin to Chekhov”

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve jointly with the Sholokhov gymnasium and central library of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya took part in the contest for the best educational project “Topical Classics: from Pushkin to Chekhov”.
A Tour to Belgorod for the Contest Winners “Our Sholokhov”

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov organized an interesting tour to Belgorod, the City of Fighting Glory, for the winners of the literary contest “Our Sholokhov”. The tour was joined by the best young reciters of Sholokhov’s works, artists and masters from the Sholokhov, Bokovsky, Kashary and Upper Don districts of the Rostov Region and the Serafimovich District of the Volgograd Region.
Exhibition “The World of Sholokhov” is Opened in Mumbai

An opening ceremony of the exhibition “The World of Sholokhov” took place on May 12, 2018, in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Mumbai. The exhibition was organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo Agency in India and the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve under the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Snowy Zapolyarye Visiting the Blooming Don

During May 3–10, 2018, the Museum-Reserve hosted a group of children from Tazovsky Settlement of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The trip was initiated by the Commander of 6 ”K” cadet group, Denis Vladimirovich Tikhonov, Deputy Ataman of the Ob-Polar Divisional Cossack Society for sport and mass work, and youth policy. That was the second visit of the Siberian schoolchildren to the Don.
Scottish Guests Visited Sholokhov Museum

On May 3, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by guests from Glasgow, Scotland, – Frank Eterson, President of the “ScotRoss” Federation, member of the Scotland National Association of Robert Burns, Vadim Viktorovich Kolganov, President of the Don Cossacks and Scots Association, a sambo coach, and Oleg Borisovich Nikolayev, Vice-President of the Don regional public organization “Federation of Cossack Martial Arts "Shermitsia", Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the XIV International Cossack Games.
