The projects of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov are published in the electronic travel book “#TimetoTravelAroundRussia” which is a calendar of tourist routes of different regions of Russia.
Final Meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council

On December 26, 2018, the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve held the final meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council. The agenda included two issues: approval of the lecture text “Traditional Culture of the Upper Don Cossacks Late in the XIX – Early the XX Centuries: Everyday Life, Rites and Traditions” prepared by Y.A.Kleimenova, a researcher of the science and stock department, and a report on the research work of the Museum-Reserve in 2018, (the speaker L. Akolzina, Museum Academic Secretary)
Sculptor of Glorious Era

On December 27, 2018, it is the 110th anniversary of Yevgeny Vuchetich, the great sculptor of monuments, who left a prominent mark in the history of Soviet art. It is enough only to name such works as “Let’s Make Ploughs of Swords”, “Soldier-Liberator”, “Motherland is Calling”, “Fight up to the Last-Ditch”. The sculptural ensembles by Vuchetich amaze and conquer.
New Year Performance in Sholokhov Museum

New Year theatrical performances for children are held in the People’s House of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. The boys and girls become viewers of the performance “Fight for Good New Year Spirit” and take part in merry games and competitions.
Unique Exhibition is Opened in Sholokhov-Centre on the Eve of the New Year

On December 20, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov presented a unique and the biggest in its history exhibition “My Dear, Dear Family…” in Sholokhov-Centre of the Don region capital. The Rostovites and guests of the city will see more than 500 exhibits including over 100 of them brought from the house at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya.
