Exhibition “The Study and World of the Writer”

On April 17, 2018, a photo exhibition “The Study and World of the Writer”, an intermuseum exhibition project under the auspices of the Literary Museums Association of the Museum Union of Russia will start running in “Tolstoy-Centre in Pyatnitskaya-12” of the State L.N.Tolstoy Museum. The project curator is the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.
A Memorable Visit of Sholokhov to Czechoslovakia

60 years ago, in early April 1978, M.A.Sholokhov visited Czechoslovakia, where at that time Mariya Petrovna, his wife, and his younger daughter Mariya rested. During his stay Mikhail Alexandrovich visited historical places, met with Czechoslovakian writers including the writer and journalist Frantisek Kubka, who later wrote a big article about Sholokhov.
