Send New Year Greetings “From Sholokhov’s House with Love”!

During December 13, 2018, – January 13, 2019, the Memorial House of M.A.Sholokhov in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya opened an exhibition “Happy New Year!” showing the greeting postcards sent to M.A.Sholokhov and his family before the New Year holidays by their relatives, friends, journals, publishers from different regions of the country and abroad.

On December days, an exhibition “Happy New Year!” with museum classes for students started its run in the Memorial House at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov. During the year there were organized visiting classes; one of them was held on December 14, 2018, in the Bokovsky District, at the Karghin secondary school named after M.A.Sholokhov.
Exhibition “My Dear, Dear Family…”

On December 20, 2018, a new exhibition “My Dear, Dear Family…”, the largest in the history of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, will start running in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. Over 500 unique exhibits including more than 100 ones are brought from the memorial house at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya will tell the visitors about the big and friendly family of the great writer, about the house, where the Sholokhovs lived from 1949, about the family traditions.

On December 5, 2018, International Volunteer Day, Sholokhov-Centre showed the film premiere “#Iamavolunteer.Stories of Those Indifferent” about volunteers, people, whose feat often goes unnoticed. On that day, the premiere took place in over 2500 areas all over the country.
