Final Meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council
27.12.2018On December 26, 2018, the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve held the final meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council. The agenda included two issues: approval of the lecture text “Traditional Culture of the Upper Don Cossacks Late in the XIX – Early the XX Centuries: Everyday Life, Rites and Traditions” prepared by Y.A.Kleimenova, a researcher of the science and stock department, and a report on the research work of the Museum-Reserve in 2018, (the speaker L. Akolzina, Museum Academic Secretary).
Reviewing the lecture A.M.Kochetov noted the lecture text to be interesting in content, full of facts, backed up with quotes from the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” by M.A.Sholokhov and can be used in the excursion and educational work of the Museum-Reserve.
The talk made by L.A.Akolzina marked the Museum achievements in the scientific and research work, and the best departments and researchers in their year’s performance. At the same time, a number of problems were highlighted and their solutions were outlined.
