The year of 2016 was announced by the Presidential Decree the Year of Russian Cinema, and a set of substantive steps aimed at development of the national cinema and strengthening its position on the international arena has been planned already.

During the New Year holidays and school holidays, the Museum-Reserve was visited by over 3000 people from the Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh, Moscow, Kursk and Leningrad regions, the Krasnodar and Stavropol areas, and by the residents of Vyoshenskaya and nearest villages.

The exhibition “At the Beginning of Glorious Deeds…” starts its run in the Excursion and Exhibition Centre “People’s House” on January, 21. It is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Nikolay Alexandrovich Bulavin, the first director of our Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
“You Can’t Miss a Pleasure of Horse Riding…”

Before the New Year and during the winter holidays, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov entertained the residents and guests of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya giving them a pleasure of riding in a horse-drawn carriage. Children and adults enjoyed riding via different routes.

The Memorial House in the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov during the New Year holidays was visited by over 900 people. They came from different parts of Russia – from Ryazan, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh, Krasnodar and even from Italy.
