Sholokhov Museum Welcomes to Cossack Martial Arts

On May, 8, we invite everyone for the literary and ethnographic holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack” (Cossack martial arts of Vyoshenskaya), where everyone can learn how to handle a horse, try to be a brave horseman and take part in the competitions on Cossack martial arts. This is the only holiday, where the heroes are a Cossack and his faithful steed, and each guest becomes not only a viewer, but also an active participant in the fascinating spectacle.

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, school “Evrika-Razvitiye” named after M.Nagibin and gymnasium 118 of Rostov-on-Don are connected by a long-term cooperation in the frames of educational programs and museum practices “Krayevedeniye” (Local History) and “Vyoshki”. Late in August there was a meeting of the Museum workers and Rostov schoolchildren.
