A Chronicle of the Time of Victories

The exhibition “The Time of Victories” opened in May at the Excursion-Exhibition Centre “The People’s House” is greatly interesting for the visitors from different parts of Russia and abroad. Visiting the exposition we can completely evaluate the meaning of the main events of the two decades in the life of the country and learn more about the fighting and labour deeds of the Soviet people.
An Expedition of the Young Learners of Literature

The Museum-Reserve of M.A. Sholokhov was visited by a group of the Don Real school from Rostov-on-Don. For five years already during the summer holidays the boys and girls have been going on a literary expedition to the native land of Sholokhov. In Vyoshenskaya they collect materials, then they present them at the district, town and regional conferences devoted to the life and work of M.A. Sholokhov.

The Estate of M.A. Sholokhov was visited by the workers of the Central Museum of Soil Science named after V.V. Dokuchayev, the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Chair of the Soil Sciences and Soil Ecology of the Biological and Soil Faculty of the Saint-Petersburg State University, who came to Vyoshenskaya in the soil studies expedition headed by professor B.F. Aparin.

The director of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve A.M. Sholokhov went on business trip to the United States of America on invitation of the Smithson Institute, one of the oldest national scientific-research and cultural institutions of the USA comprising 18 museums and galleries.

On July, 9, the Memorial House-Museum of M.A. Sholokhov was visited by the members of the historical and archaeological expedition “Ratnyi Put” (“Mililary Way”), organized by the Lipetsk Regional Social organization “Military and Historical Club “Spear” and the Home Policy Office of the Lipetsk Region.
