Exhibition of Sholokhov Museum Opened in Belgorod Country

On August 6, 2019, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov presented at the Museum “The Third Battlefield of Russia” in Prokhorovka an exhibition “…Remember, Quiet Don, Your Children!” dedicated to the First World War, which beginning was celebrated on August 1. This is the third joint project of the Museum-Reserve “Prokhorovskoye Pole” and the Museum-Reserve of M.A. Sholokhov.
The Oldest Pine Forest of Vyoshenskaya

Residents of Vyoshenskaya are rightfully proud of the oldest pine forest growing in the outskirts of their native stanitsa. It was planted in the year of the 100th anniversary of the victory of the Russian Army over Napoleon. This pine forest is a special kind! You listen to songs of birds, breathe fresh air in full and feel like you are filling with energy and sun. Green pine needles are pleasing to the eye all year round, and the yellow-brown trunks of the trees seem attractively warm.
Dance Marathon at Sholokhov-Centre
