A cycle of interactive museum classes dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia were held for schoolchildren in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” at the exhibition “I Can’t Live without Nature…” from the collection of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
Exhibition “Sholokhov’s World” in India

On 18 of October, 2017, the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve opens a new exhibition “Sholokhov’s World” to run in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi (India). It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and India.
Autumn Arbor Day in Sholokhov Museum

An autumn holiday – Arbor Day, dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia, was held on October 13, 2017, in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. The holiday was first marked over 100 years ago, and in 2012, it was recovered on the initiative of the Rostov Region Governor V.Y.Golubev.

The autumn Environmental Week dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia was continued on October 11, 2017, with the V jubilee relay-quiz “Forest Tier” and the competition “Forest Decathlon”, which were held by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov jointly with the Novocherkassk A.K.Kortunov Engineering and Meliorative Institute of the Don Agricultural University and the research branch “South-European NILOS”
“Phytomarathon” in Kalinov Village School

The workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov held an entertaining “Phytomarathon” for junior and middle school students of Kalinov Village on October 10, 2017. The entertaining game was aimed at deepening knowledge in biodiversity of plants of the Don country.
