Within the Internet project “In Search of the Lost Library” the collection of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was added with a complete collection of works by H.Ibsen in 4 volumes (Appendix to the journal “Niva” of 1909) published in Saint-Petersburg by A.F.Marx Partnership. This is an analogue of the collected works by the Norwegian writer; it was in the personal library of M.A.Sholokhov in the 1930–1940s and was lost during the Great Patriotic War.
The Exhibition “The Peoples of the Crimea”

The excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov shows the exhibition “The Peoples of the Crimea” displaying unique exhibits from the collection of the Crimean Ethnographical Museum. The residents and guests of Vyoshenskaya can see an unparalleled collection of documents, photos and things telling about the ethnocultural traditions of 30 peoples living in the Crimea.

On March 16, 2017, the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Vienna (Austria) opened an exhibition “On the Quiet, on the Free, on the Glorious Don…” of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. This is the second exhibition of our Museum in Austria.

On the 21 of March, International Forest Day and Spring Equinox Day, planting of the Crimean Pine was carried out in the forest area “Pearl of Eurasia”. The event was joined by the pupils of the Sholokhov Centre of Assistance for the Children of Kalinin Village, schoolchildren from the Bokovsky and Sovetsky Districts of the Rostov Region, representatives of different institutions and organizations, guests of the Stanitsa and holidaymakers in the sanatorium “Vyoshensky”.
Competition “Our Sholokhov”

The final of the competition “Our Sholokhov” will take place on April 11, in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov holds it annually on the eve of the writer’s birthday.
