The Museum is Going to Be Encreasingly Visited

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve took part in the work of the 17th Moscow International exhibition “Travels and Tourism”, which took place on March, 17-20, at the exhibition complex “Expocentre”. It helped to offer new tourist programs, tell about the Sholokhov District, its history, culture and traditions to amateur travellers from all over the world and tour professionals.
New Museum Projects are Introduced at the Exhibition “Intourmarket-2010”

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve introduced its new projects joined by the conception “Open Air Novel” at the 5th jubilee World Tourist Exhibition “Intourmarket-2010”, which took place in Moscow on March, 13-16. The forum work was joined by more than 135 regions and countries of the world.

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve presented its projects at the 44th International Tourist Exhibition-Fair “ITB Berlin-2010” which took place on March, 9-14, in Germany. It is one of a few tourist forums supposed for a wide range of the tourindustry professionals. Practically the whole world gathers here, and this year there have been presented more than 10 thousand exponents from 180 countries.
A Graphic Exhibition Is Opened in Sholokhov Museum

On March, 9, at the Excursion and Exhibition Centre “The People’s House of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve there is opened an exhibition of works by the artist Alexey Bogdanov “Following the Paths of Sholokhov’s Personages”. It is the twelfth exhibition in “The People’s House”. This time the visitors are introduced a collection of graphic works.

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve presented the exhibition “Mikhail Sholokhov. In the Land of the Quiet Don” in Cuba, where on February, 11-12, in an ancient fortress San-Carlos-de-la-Caba?a the XIX International Havana Book Fair took place.
In Honour of the Great Countryman

The 21 of February is the Memorial Day of Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov. On that day and before it in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya from the early morning the countrymen, admirers of the writer’s work visited the monument and the tomb of M.A. Sholokhov in order to put flowers and pay honours for the great countryman.
