Sholokhov Museum was the 12th in “My Favourite Museum” Online Vote

The portal “Культура РФ” announced a completion of the first All-Russian online vote “My Favourite Museum” joined by over 1600 Russian museums. The winner of the national rating became the museum-exhibition complex “New Jerusalem”. One of the top-5 was the Azov Museum-Reserve, and the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was the 12th.

A class for children “Theatre of War” organized jointly with the Rostov city public organization of invalids “Nadezhda” was held on December 2, 2018, during the All-Russian inclusive action “Museum for All!” in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
“Turgenev. Today!” in Sholokhov Museum

On December 4, 2018, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov as a partner of the federal project “Theatre Russia” took part in the show of the world premiere of the performance “Turgenev.Today!” dedicated to the anniversary of the great Russian writer. On this day, the performance of the cinema version is shown on 1000 screens in different parts of Russia and the Russian cultural centres abroad – in Spain, Italy, Poland, Latvia, Azerbaijan and other countries.

Sholokhov Museum Shows in Rostov an Exhibition “My Dear, Dear Family…”

On December 21, 2018, a new exhibition “My Dear, Dear Family…” will open in Sholokhov-Centre of Rostov-on-Don. The exhibition presents unique memorial objects which will take the visitors into the world of the family of the great writer, into the atmosphere of the hospitable house at the Estate in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, where the Sholokhov family lived from 1949.

During October and November, 2018, the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov met with the heads of rural settlements, representatives of schools and other educational institutions, leaders of the organizations and enterprises of the Sovetsky, Chertkovo and Belokalitvensky districts and told about the cultural and patriotic potential of the Sholokhov District.
