“Theatre of War” in Sholokhov-Centre
05.12.2018A class for children “Theatre of War” organized jointly with the Rostov city public organization of invalids “Nadezhda” was held on December 2, 2018, during the All-Russian inclusive action “Museum for All!” in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
Having visited the exhibition “Russian Cavalry in the Era of the Napoleonic Wars” the members of the interactive class learned about the main events and heroes of the war operations of 1812, saw unique works of art picturing the events of that time.
The children were attracted by the satirical graphics, cartoons making fun of the French army and Napoleon, and during the class they were glad to paint the cartoons created on the model of the famous Terebenev alphabet published in the XIX century.
