Sholokhov Museum Invites to “Karghin Fair on Intercession Days”

On October 7, 2018, a literary ethnographic holiday “Karghin Fair on Intercession Days” will take place in Stanitsa Karghinskaya, in the Farmstead of Timofey Karghin. It is organized by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov jointly with the administration of the Bokovsky District the Rostov Region.

The XX jubilee international scientific and practical conference on the modern study in the work of M.A.Sholokhov is over. Traditionally it is called Sholokhov Readings.

The XX “Sholokhov Readings” started working in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
Exhibition “The Study and World of the Writer” Starts in Dostoyevsky Museum

On September 2, 2018, the Literary Memorial F.M.Dostoyevsky Museum in Saint-Petersburg started showing the travelling exhibition “The Study and World of the Writer” joined by the major literary museums of Russia.
Exhibition “Aksinya” is Opened in Sholokhov-Centre

On September 3, 2018, an opening ceremony of the exhibition “Aksinya” took place in Sholokhov-Centre of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve under the support of the Foundation for Modern Art Development of “Experiment Um”. It shows the works of Moscow masters – sculptor Vladimir Amodeo and graphic artist Galina Salikhova.
“Culinary Travels with Gleb Astafyev” in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve became a shooting ground for the program “Culinary Travels with Gleb Astafyev” shown on the TV channel “Hunting and Fishing”. This program consists of 12 series, three of which are devoted to travelling around Sholokhov country.
