The Museum Took Part in the Science Festival of South Russia

On September, 28-29, in Rostov-on-Don, the IV Science Festival of the South of Russia took place at the “VertolExpo” exhibition centre. It was organized by the South Federal University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Russian Federation. It was joined by the universities of the Rostov and Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, and the North Caucasian republics. The students and young scholars demonstrated the latest achievements in biology, electronics, pedagogics, civil engineering and many other fields.
The Mill Office in Stanitsa Karghinskaya is Reconstructed

Early in the XX century, when building up the mill, simultaneously there was built an office for its management. Usually in the office there was a counterman’s desk with accounts, estimates and receipts on it. Depending on the production range of the mill the offices were built one- or two-storeyed.

90 years ago, on September, 19, 1923, the newspaper “Yunosheskaya Pravda”, issue 35, published a feuilleton “The Trial” (an incident from the life of one of the counties in the Dvinsk Region) under the name of M.Sholokhov. It was the first step of the future Nobel Prize winner into literature.
