Rostov Region Began Preparations for the 110th Anniversary of Mikhail Sholokhov

The head of the Rostov Region Administration, V.Y.Golubev, signed a decree on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the writer.

This work will be taken under the supervision of the Governor deputies, the heads of the regional executive authorities, law enforcement agencies, the heads of the respective municipalities, the director of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, A.M.Sholokhov.

An outline plan for the preparation and holding of the holiday will have been developed and approved by the end of this month.

The central event of the anniversary celebrations will be the all-Russian literary and folklore festival “Sholokhov Spring”, which is going to be held in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya in the May of 2015.
