Sholokhov Museum Welcomes to the Holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack”

A literary ethnographic holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack” will take place on May 7, 2017, at the Stables of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. This holiday of Cossack martial arts of Vyoshenskaya is dedicated to the Great Victory Day and the birthday of the great Russian writer Mikhail Sholokhov.

For the first time the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov takes part in the 10th All-Russian specialized exhibition “Tourist.Hunter.Fisher”, which was held from 13 to 16 of April, 2017, in Volgograd.
The 100-Year Old “Molot” and Sholokhov’s Lines

On these days the Rostov Region newspaper “Molot” celebrates its 100th anniversary. For a regional edition it is a great date. On its first steps in 1917, the press organ of the Rostov Nakhichevan Committee of the Russian Social Democratic Workers’ Party bore the title “Nashe Znamya” (Our Banner). Later the newspaper was entitled “Rabochaya Pravda” (Workers’ Truth), “Donskaya Pravda” (The Don Truth), “Trudovoy Don” (The Working Don), and since 1924, it has been issued presently entitled “Molot”.
