A New Year Performance in Sholokhov Museum

The People’s House of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov showed a New Year theatrical performance for children. Boys and girls were shown a spectacle “How Koshchey was Going to Marry Snow Girl” and took part in merry games and competitions.

An opening ceremony of the exhibition “With Rifle and Lyre. Russian Literature and Hunting” took place on December 22, 2017, on the eve of the New Year holidays, in Sholokhov-Centre of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. This great exhibition project is represented by the exhibits from 20 major historical and literary museums and libraries of Russia.

Within the Internet project “In Search for the Lost Library”, the Museum-Reserve continues replenishing the book collection with the book analogues of Sholokhov’s pre-war library. In December 2017, the collection received 5 copies of books of the early XX century.

On December 15, 2017, Sholokhov-Centre of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve opens an exhibition “With Rifle and Lyre. Russian Literature and Hunting”. This is a big project showing the exhibits from the collections of 20 museums and libraries of Russia.

On December 2, 2017, a museum class “Let’s Touch the Old Times” was held in the People’s House within the framework of the All-Russian action “Museum for All! Inclusion Day”. It showed the importance of providing equal opportunities for all including disabled people, a category of museum visitors who need special attention. It is the museum that can play a significant role in the development of an inclusive society.
