The “Intermuseum” festival on the second and the third days of its work is visited by crowds of tourists, among them there are families with children and young people joining the busy work of the section of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

The XVIII International museum festival “Intermuseum” began its work in the central exhibition hall “Manezh” in Moscow on May 13, to run till May 16.The theme of the festival “Boundless Museum” is purposed for attracting attention to the museum as the main part of the intercultural dialogue and to its social mission.

On May holidays the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was overcrowded. The most attraction was the literary and ethnographic holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack”, which had a successful run at the Stables on May 8.

On May days the Memorial Estate of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by 1391 people. The tourists from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Volgodonsk, Belgorod, Volgograd, Ryazan, Krasnodar and from foreign countries – Italy, France and Abkhazia came to visit the home of M.A.Sholokhov, to feel its inexpressible atmosphere and bow to the tomb of the writer.
