The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve for the first time took part in the exhibition “TABIHAKU” Travel Showcase” (JATA-2014), which took place on September, 26–28, in Tokio. This is one of the biggest tour exhibitions in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. It is officially supported by the tourist administration of Tokio city and Japanese association of tour operators.

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov took part in Lermontov Readings for Children “My House is Where the Firmament is...” The opening ceremony held on September, 29, in Taman, was devoted to the 200th anniversary of M.Y.Lermontov.
Opening of the Exhibition “Daughters of Russia”

The exhibition “Daughters of Russia” from the collection of the State Museum-Reserve of the War History “Prokhorovskoye Pole” (the Belgorod Region) was opened on September, 29, 2014, in the Excursion-Exhibition Centre “People’s House” of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The presentation of the exhibition was joined by the workers of the Museum-Reserve “Prokhorovskoye Pole” headed by the Museum Deputy Director Oksana Mishkina, Vyoshenskaya residents, veterans and young people.
The II Siberian Museum Forum in Krasnoyarsk

A.M.Sholokhov, Director of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, took part in the II Siberian Museum Forum held on September, 25 – 26, in Krasnoyarsk. The Forum was aimed at discussing topical questions on development of the museums of Russia and their role in keeping historical memory.
