The project “Sholokhov Country is an Open Air Novel” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov takes part in the competition for the National Award “Crystal Compass” and was one of the applicants for winning in the nomination “Public Recognition”, where the winners are determined by online voting.

M.A.Sholokhov was one of the first to raise the theme of war prisoners in Soviet literature. His works “They Fought for Their Country” and “The Fate of a Man” aroused a great response from the readers both in our country and abroad.
Environmental Classes for Schoolchildren

On April 8, Arbor Day, the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov held an interactive class for schoolchildren of Vyoshenskaya gymnasium within the project “Environmental Museum School” on the site “Forest Pearl of Russia”.
“Forest Tier” in Novocherkassk

On April 9, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov jointly with the Novocherkassk A.K.Kortunov Engineering and Reclamation Institute of the Don Agricultural University and the Small Forest Academy held the I Round of the Relay Quiz “Forest Tier” for schoolchildren of the Rostov Region south in Novocherkassk. It was joined by 10 teams from Novocherkassk, Taganrog and Stanitsa Grushevskaya the Aksai District.

Marking Arbor Day on April 8, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov held an environmental action “Let’s Plant Forest Together”, which was joined by the students of Sholokhov gymnasium in the forested area “Forest Pearl of Eurasia”.

The gala-concert of the literary and folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring” dedicated to the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov is awarded the First Degree Diploma of the of the All-Russian award “Aspects of Mass Theatre” as the best mass theatrical performance.
