“Sholokhov Spring ” is the Winner of the All-Russian Theatrical Award

The gala-concert of the literary and folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring” dedicated to the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov is awarded the First Degree Diploma of the of the All-Russian award “Aspects of Mass Theatre” as the best mass theatrical performance.

The All-Russian professional award “Aspects of Mass Theatre” was established in 2005, by the Union of Theatrical Workers of Russia under the support of the RF Ministry of culture, Government of Moscow and the Public Relations Committee of Moscow. It is awarded for the achievements in the field of mass forms of theatrical art. The jury includes the leading figures of theatrical and fine arts, music and literature, specialists of the mass theatrical performances, professional theatrical critics and outstanding Russian workers of art.

The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow Petrovsky Travelling Palace. The competition for the award was joined by more than 70 projects realized in 2015, representing 45 regions of Russia. The gala-concert of the All-Russian literary and folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring” dedicated to the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov became the winner in the nomination “The Best Regional Holiday”. The creative group of the project includes: Alexander Sholokhov, the author of the idea, Viktoriya Polezhayeva, the script writer and stage director, Nikolay Govorukhin, a production designer, Yury Telichenko, a music director, Viktoriya Kolesnikova, a choreographer. The stage director Viktoriya Polezhayeva was also awarded the Diploma in the nomination “The Best Director’s Work”.

It should be noted that in the previous year the literary and folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring” became the winner of the National Award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards” in the nomination “The Best Event in Culture”.

Very soon, “Sholokhov Spring” will gather its guests in the homeland of the great Russian writer. The holiday will be held on May 27–29, 2016.
