On July 25, 2020, a round table was held in the format of an online conference between the staff of the Sholokhov museum-reserve and the organizers of the exhibition of works by the Japanese writer, photo artist, philosopher Daisaku Ikeda. The Zoom conference is a continuation of the friendship that developed 46 years ago between an outstanding Russian writer and a prominent Japanese figure.

An exhibition of works by military photojournalist Anatoly Arkhipov “War in the focus of the lens. 1941-1945 " was opened in exhibition and excursion center “People’s House”. The exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

65 years ago, on July 18, 1955, in the Kremlin the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Kliment Voroshilov presented Mikhail Sholokhov, the highest state award of the USSR the Order of Lenin.
