An Essay “A Word about the Motherland” was Published 65 Years Ago

On January, 23–24, 1948, the newspaper “Pravda” published the first postwar essay of M.A.Sholokhov. It is an intimate talk of the author with the reader about the fate of the Motherland, the heroism of the Soviet people and the sacrifices made for the future.
Epiphany Gatherings in Kruzhilin Village

It has become a good tradition in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov to hold Epiphany Gatherings for schoolchildren at the Cossack farmstead in Kruzhilin Village.
Christmas Concert in the People’s House

“Bright Christmas is the happiest holiday!”– These words opened the Christmas concert in the Museum “People’s House” on January, 8. Its program was made up by the teachers and students of the parochial and Sunday schools of Vyoshensky parish, the congregation of the Saint Mikhail the Archangel Church and the museum workers of the Mass Event Department of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
