The exhibition introduces the complex and amazing history of the construction of the cathedral. The exhibition presents original drawings, unrealized projects and lithographs. There are also presented sketches of artists for paintings, drawings by K. Bryullov and T. Neff and fragments of the cathedral’s decoration.

The exposition is dedicated to a woman in traditional culture, her social role and understanding of female beauty. The exhibition features over 280 items of women's clothing, jewelry, household items, paintings and graphics.

“The World of the Sholokhov’s Estate”

The exhibition presents objects from the memorial house where Sholokhov lived with his family from January 14, 1949 to February 21, 1984.
Visitors will see the atmosphere surrounding the writer, his manuscripts, books, personal belongings of the writer and his family, furniture, dishes and other exhibits; they will feel the atmosphere that prevailed in his house during the life of the owner and disposed to creativity.

“Sholokhov. The Nobel Triumph”

Visitors will learn the history of awarding the most significant literary prize in the world, examine in detail the suit and dresses which the Sholokhovs were wearing at the ceremony, and see the footage of documentary chronicle.

“To dear Mikhail Alexandrovich ...”

The exhibition presents souvenirs and other items presented to Mikhail Sholokhov at the anniversary dates by relatives and friends, as well as famous people and readers who knew him only from books.
Among a variety of gifts there is a souvenir set "Matryoshka", a gift from Soviet writers, which symbolizes the Sholokhov family.
