In the talk with a Czech journalist Frantishek Kubka, in 1958, Mikhail Alexandrovich said: “I can’t live without nature. Each moment it is different. Everything is inimitable in it. Eternally new clouds, water, herbs, tress… And people change endlessly. The whole human communities wouldn’t remain unchanged, they acquire new and new appearance, grow and die. Like violets, like tulips in the steppe. Like flocks of migrating birds… Man must live among people, see and hear them, speak and think together with them… But best of all I can think when hunting… especially by the water”…
