It is a crosslet embroidery work, a present to Sholokhov on May, 24, 1962, for the writer’s birthday from Lyudmila Petrovna Zaitseva, the wife of the nephew of Mariya Petrovna, Yuriy Petrovich Zaitsev.
The inscription: “To our dear Uncle Misha from L. Zaitseva. 1962”.
