Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov is a Finalist of the National Prize “Crystal Compass”
06.05.2014The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve has become a finalist of the national prize “Crystal Compass” for the project “Museum-Reserve as an Institute of Environmental Education and Awareness of the Population”.
“Crystal Compass” is the first prize in national geography, ecology, preservation and popularization of the natural, historic and cultural heritage of Russia. The main goal is to identify and support the initiatives for preserving nature of Russia and instilling love and a caring attitude to human environment. It was organized by the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society and the Corporate Association “Gazprom in Kuban”.
The project “Museum-Reserve as an Institute of Environmental Education and Awareness of the Population” is aimed at formation of a caring attitude to nature, a sense of responsibility for the environment and at improvement of environmental education.
