On October, 31, 1967, in Kalininsky Village, a rally was held on commissioning of a television repeater providing a stable reception of the television broadcasts by the residents of the Upper Don.
Central Library of Vyoshenskaya is 115

The Vyoshenskaya central district library is one of the oldest in the Upper Don region. The jubilee session dedicated to its 115th anniversary was joined by the readers including those from the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The deputy director for the Museum Development Y.N.Dyomin warmly congratulated the staff of the library on the jubilee and presented an art panel in the frame “The Estate of M.A.Sholokhov in Vyoshenskaya”.

On October, 21, Stanitsa Karghinskaya marked its 215th anniversary. The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve was one of the organizers of the bright festival dedicated to this date.
A Cossack Kayuk in the Collection of the World Ocean Museum

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve donated a Cossack boat, a kayuk made in the Upper Don, to the Museum of the World Ocean (Kaliningrad). This exhibit joined the rich museum collection of the history of research and development of the World Ocean in Russia.
The Triumph of the Russian Calico

The exhibition “The Triumph of the Russian Calico” opened in the halls of the Excursion-Exhibition Centre “The People’s House”. It is a joint project of the two museums - All-Russian Museum of Decorative-Applied and Folk Art and National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The exhibition is a part of the major project “The Don. Sholokhov. Russia” developed by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
