Educational Programs
“Young Archeologist”
A program of supplementary education for the primary-level students of secondary comprehensive schools.
It provides initial knowledge of archeology, archeologist profession, its labour peculiarities, archeological memorials on the territory of the Sholokhov District and the results of the excavations. The children will widen their knowledge of the ancient tribes which inhabited the Don steppes, their occupation, everyday life and culture. The program is aimed at formation of a caring attitude to the archeological heritage of the native land and awareness of the need for its conservation.
