Guests from Moscow in the Don Country

On July 3, 2019, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by A.V.Kibovsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department for Culture.

Alexander Vladimirovich is the author of numerous publications on the history of the Russian imperial army and on the identification of portraits of Russian officers of the XVIII–XIX centuries based on the information about the military uniforms and awards. From 1993, he was an editor, and from 1998, he was Deputy Chief Editor of the Russian military history journal “Tseikhgaus” (now “Stary Tseikhgaus”). Since 2004, he has been a teacher of military costume history in the School Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre, Consultant in military and civilian uniform in the cinema.

A.V.Kibovsky visited the sites of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, and in Kruzhilin Village he could feel the atmosphere of the old village life, he learned about the life of the Don Cossacks and tasted traditional Cossack dishes.
