Museum Classes “60 Years of Love and Harmony”

The students of the 5–9 forms of the Vyoshenskaya secondary school showed a keen interest in the museum classes held during March 13–19, 2019, at the photo exhibition “60 Years of Love and Harmony” in the memorial House at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov. The classes were attended by more than 120 visitors.
The children learned many interesting things about the big and friendly Sholokhov family, saw photos from the Museum collection and the private archives of the writer’s family, looked into the family tree of M.A.Sholokhov.
It was interesting for the schoolchildren to hear about the meeting of Mikhail Alexandrovich and Mariya Petrovna, about their wedding in the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Stanitsa Bukanovskaya, about their family hobby of fishing and hunting, and their travels around our country and abroad.
In class, there were shown fragments of documentaries and video footage of memories of Mariya Petrovna Sholokhova. Then the children answered the questions of the quiz and solved crosswords.
