Winter Horse Riding

You are welcome to the Stables of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov to have a good sledge ride and to admire the beauty and splendour of the winter forest!

About 500 people visited the Stables on the winter holidays. They learned about the Don Cossack traditions, about the importance of the horse, a faithful friend and comrade-in-arms for the Cossack and had a ride on the horse-drawn sledges around the picturesque neighborhood of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and to the old giant oak, tried themselves as horsemen and made their photos wearing Cossack dresses.

Winter does not always please us with snow, so take a chance to take a pleasure sledge ride through the snowy forest. We welcome you to the Stables of the Museum-Reserve!
