Museum Class “Visiting Museum with All the Family!”

On September 29, 2018, Sholokhov Museum jointly with the Centre of Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance to the Population of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya will hold a museum class “Visiting Museum with All the Family!” joined by the children with disabilities and their parents.

The members of the class will visit Kruzhilin Village, where the great Russian writer Mikhail Sholokhov was born, will make a tour of the old Cossack farmstead, will learn about the life of the Upper Don Cossacks in the late XIX – early XX centuries, and will taste the dishes of the traditional Don cuisine.

The workshops on needlework and crafts will let the children know about the features of husbandry in Cossack families, ways of making household items, utensils and agricultural equipment.

The museum class will become an amusing travel to the past and bring bright impressions to the children and adults.
