Welcome to “Kruzhilin Toloki”

On September 4, for the seventh time, the traditional literary and ethnographic holiday “Kruzhilin Toloki”, which has become very popular, is going to take place in Kruzhilin Village, homeland of M.A.Sholokhov.

The visitors will travel in time and get into the life of the Don village of the early XX century thanks to the reconstruction of “very old times”. This time they will be able to take part in such agricultural works as harvesting watermelons. These works, as usual, will be theatricalized in a colourful performance. And after harvesting you can sing songs and dance to your hearts’ content.

Old customs in the Don country are beautiful! And the guests of the holiday will see it themselves. There will be tours about memorial sights, activity areas and master-classes. Some guests will try vegetable decoupage, someone will take to stained glass painting or making a scarecrow…Everyone will find activity to his liking. You are welcome to “Kruzhilin Toloki”!
