Sholokhov Museum Presented Its Exhibition in the Kashari Museum of History and Local Studies.

The exhibition “M.A.Sholokhov. Moments of Life” from the collection of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve was opened on March, 19, in Kashari, at the Museum of History and Local studies.

The exhibition includes the materials about the work of M.A.Sholokhov from the collection of the Kashari museum. The visitors will see unique photos, a collection of the writer’s books published in different years.

The exhibition opening ceremony was joined by the Kashari secondary school students, members of the theatrical studio of the House of Culture, representatives of public organizations. Cossack colonel A.I.Kvitkin, a poet, member of the International Union of Writers and Journalists “APIA” (London), recited his new poetry “Our Sholokhov” dedicated to the 110^th anniversary of the great writer. The theatrical studio performers shared their plans: at the holiday of “Sholokhov Spring” they will stage the scenes from the short story “The Getling” by M.A.Sholokhov.

The narration about the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov in the first excursion about the new exhibition aroused a great interest of the visitors.

The exhibition will run until May, 13, 2015, daily from 9 till 17 except Sunday and Monday.
