The Contest Results are Summed Up
05.02.2015The results of the VIII International (extramural) contest of the research works of the Children and Youth Environmental Movement “Sholokhov Source” have been summed up.
The contest was participated by young ecologists from the Rostov, Volgograd, Belgorod, Orlov, Saratov regions, Krasnodar Territory, from the republics of Daghestan, North Ossetia and from the nearest foreign countries Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Abkhazia.
Schoolchildren submitted for the contest 27 research works, where they revealed a relationship between man and nature in the works of the great Russian writers, showed the conservation problems of unique parks, tracts and forests, and proposed their recommendations for their rational preservation and development.
Most of the entries for the contest organizing committee are connected with the Year of Literature in Russia and reflect the subject “The Image of Nature in Literary Works”.
The nominations included:
- Relationship between man and nature in the works of Russian writers;
- The role of literature in the formation of the environmental culture;
- Rational land use;
- Personal experience in the environmental studies.
The contest winners are marked for award.
