Honoured Guests of the Estate
19.01.2015The Guest Book of the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov has been replenished with new records by the guests of honour.
On January, 14, the memorial house of the great writer was visited by Vladimir Yuryevich Matveyev, the State Hermitage Deputy Director for Exhibitions and Development, an art historian. He arrived at Vyoshenskaya to discuss questions on organizing exhibitions of the Hermitage collections in Vyoshenskaya and in the Rostov branch of the Museum-Reserve. The exhibitions will be dedicated to the 110th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov.
On January, 16, the Estate was visited by Lika Alexeyevna Nifontova, an actress of “Satirikon” theatre, the Honoured Actress of Russia (1995), the People’s Actress of Russia (2005). She came to Vyoshenskaya with her husband S.V.Ursulyak, a film director, who is shooting a new 10-episode screen version of the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” by M.A.Sholokhov. Darya Ursulyak, the daughter of Serghey Ursulyak and Lika Nifontova, participates in the film acting the role of Nataliya Melekhova (Korshunova).
