Congratulations on the Day of Russian Press!

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov sends its best wishes to all journalists working for print and electronic newspapers and magazines, TV and Radio companies, and Internet portals on the professional holiday of the Day of Russian Press!

Cooperation with the media makes it possible to tell a wider public about the Museum, new research in the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov, about exhibitions, museum lessons, literary, ethnographic and folklore holidays and other bright events, and to attract new visitors to the country of Sholokhov.

In the past Year of Culture, journalists made a significant contribution to the coverage of the Museum-Reserve activity, and we are sure that the further cooperation will allow implementation of a number of interesting projects in 2015, the Year of Literature and the 110^th anniversary of the great Russian writer Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov.

The museum workers follow with interest the work of journalists who are faithful to Sholokhov theme and annually mark the most interesting and topical publications. We are glad to find in 2014 an increased number of bright articles, reportages and interviews. There are memories of Sholokhov’s fellows, many materials are devoted to the sights of the writer’s homeland, holidays of “Sholokhov Spring”, “Kruzhilin Toloki”, “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack”, “Karghin Fair on Pokrov Day” and to making a new film version of the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”, which takes place near Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya.
