“M.A.Sholokhov is The Nobel Prize Winner”
11.12.2015This was the headline of the class held on December, 10, in Kolundayevskaya secondary school. The talk was devoted to the 50th anniversary of awarding the writer the most honorary prize of the modernity.
The Nobel Diploma reads: “Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov is awarded the Nobel Prize in literature in recognition of the artistic power and integrity that he displayed in his Don historical epic about the life stages of the Russian people.”
The children heard about the history of the Nobel Prize, about the trip of M.A.Sholokhov and his family for the Nobel celebrations and saw a video fragment about awarding the writer the Nobel Prize and photographs of the awarding ceremony from the Museum-Reserve collections.
During the celebrations on the Nobel Prize award Mikhail Alexandrovich said his famous words: “I would like my books to help people become better and purer in heart, arouse love for man and desire to become an active fighter for the ideals of humanism and human progress. If I have managed it to some extent, I am happy!”
